A LEADING-EDGE INDUSTRIAL TOOL

Ambos frères & fils

All our employees have been driven by the passion for metal since the creation of the company in 1955.

From one generation to the next, our company has evolved and adapted and has never ceased to invest and innovate.

Our company provides its customers with a pool of ultra-modern and constantly changed machines to guarantee the best levels of efficiency on the market.

ENGINEERING

Our operations always start with an engineering and consultancy step. We have the most efficient computer solutions so as to provide our services within the shortest possible deadlines. We can analyse 3D computer files to calculate our prices and manufacture each component automatically.

We use 3D CAD software to design new equipment based on your specifications and to design our production tools. Our 4,000 m2 of workshops are equipped with Wi-Fi, thereby allowing every employee to connect to the central server to review the drawings or technical files of any contract.

In order to produce industrial sheet metal parts, we use various 3D software applications, mainly drawing software and developed length calculator software. The parts to be cut are also automatically nested by means of post-processors which directly communicate with the laser, plasma and oxygen cutting machines.

SHEET METAL WORKING

In sheet metal working, our fibre laser cutting solution allows us to achieve the best levels of efficiency and finish. Depending on the sheet thickness, we also use thermal cutting technologies, namely plasma or oxygen cutting, and thus carry out all cutting operations in-house.

Our bending presses can form sheets up to 4,000 mm in length and are equipped with bending aid tools to provide production operators with optimum work ergonomics. In addition to bending, we can also roll rings and cones for sheet thicknesses up to 40 mm and widths up to 2,500 mm. For each application, we have a machine or a tool to optimise the productivity and the manufacturing time.

Qualified welding

Over the past years, our expertise in qualified welding has gained international renown. Our welders are continuously trained to use ultra-modern welding equipment. All our MIG-MAG welding stations are now equipped with synergic current sources for easier parameter setting and to ensure impeccable finish levels for every weld bead. We have installed lifting devices and positioners at each work station for easier handling of the parts.

Every saved minute of handling allows the product to be made faster and at a lower cost. Regarding special welding applications, i.e. automated, mechanised or partially mechanised welding, we have invested into three complementary technologies: a longitudinal TIG welding bench for butt welding of low thickness rings, a column and boom manipulator for (linear or circular) submerged arc welding of very thick parts and a MIG-MAG welding robot allowing continuous movements on 14 axes over lengths of 6,000 mm.

LARGE MACHINING

In order to achieve the final level of precision of our products, we have made major investment in large machining tools. All our milling and turning machines are equipped with Numerical Controls (NC) which allow the creation of single programmes directly on the machine or remotely with a CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) solution. These programming solutions make it possible to manufacture single parts and series of parts with excellent levels of productivity.

Most of our machines are equipped with automatic tool changer magazines for maximum reduction of the machining cycle times. We have a centre tool storage and preparation area which allows us to manage our stock in real time. We have entered into partnerships with the leading manufacturers of the cutting tool market so as to regularly test all the new cutting solutions and parameters to improve our efficiency. The final dimensional check can be performed with conventional means or with three-dimensional solutions, such as a measuring arm or a laser tracker.

With these complementary production tools, we can manufacture, in-house and in very short times, any mechanical part, sheet metal part or mechanically welded assembly at the best price on the market. Our production equipment is extremely efficient for components weighing between 200 kg and 2 metric tons. If necessary, with our assembly hall equipped with an overhead crane suited to lift special heavy parts, we can manufacture components weighing up to 10 metric tons.
